Anchor Pools, located in Easley and Seneca, South Carolina, serves the upstate which includes Pickens, Oconee, Seneca, Greenville, and Anderson counties. J.B. Merritt established Anchor Pools in 1978 and continues to own and operate the company.

The company is also an exclusive member of the Master Pool Guild (MPG), which is an elite group of top swimming pool builders throughout the world.
