Anchor Pools, located in Easley and Seneca, South Carolina, serves the Upstate which includes Pickens, Oconee, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson counties. J.B. Merritt founded Anchor Pools in 1978 and continues to own and operate the company.
Anchor Pools specializes in custom built gunite pools, residential and commercial, to please everyone’s individual style. We are a member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) and the Easley Chamber of Commerce. The company is also an exclusive member of the Master Pools Guild (MPG), which is an elite group of top swimming pool builders all over the world. Throughout the years Anchor Pools has won numerous awards for its design excellence.
Anchor Pools not only builds beautiful new pools; we also renovate existing pools and incorporate them into the Anchor Pools family with needed repairs and TLC.
We offer a large variety of renovations based on the customer’s needs and budget- from resurfacing gunite pools to new in ground liner replacements. Retiling, coping work, sprucing up existing concrete decking, and adding water features are just a few more options we have to turn your existing pool into a backyard retreat.
Anchor Pools Retail division was established in 1979 when J.B. Merritt saw a need in the community to service and maintain the beautiful pools he was installing and the ones that were already existing. Through trial and error we have narrowed our retail line to products that we are proud to stand behind and sell. The brands we carry are very trusted and have been proven reliable through the test of time. These include Hayward, Pentair, Polaris, Poolife, Baquacil, Big Green Egg, and Strong Spas. In addition to the superior products that we carry- our employees receive continuous, extensive training to keep up with the latest information to answer all your questions and concerns and find a solution for any problems that arise.
